Calls and Lines
The UK telecoms market is highly competitive and, to the average user, very complicated. There are many different packages availalble from simple "calls only" tariffs right through to "bundled" calls, lines, broadband, mobile and TV.
Many businesses spend significant amounts of money on phone calls every month, without any real understanding of what they are being charged for, and are often paying for services that are not even being used.
Billing issues are also a common concern, with many customers complaining that thier bills are almost impossible to understand.
Jaguar is different!
We offer a choice of "simple" business tariffs that will give you substantial savings on calls plus highly competitive line rental charges.
With Jaguar's "simple" tariffs:
- there are no hidden costs on our call charges
- there is no "set-up" fee (see below)
- there is no rounding up
Bespoke
We also offer a "bespoke" tariff service for customers with more complex requirements or high volumes of calls - e.g. Call Centres
Reliable
The vast majority of our calls are routed over BT's wholesale network so you can be sure that your service will be reliable. All telephone lines are also provided and maintained by BT Openreach. This is critical – bad quality lines result in poor reception and lost business.
Billing
Best of all, with Jaguar you can see a full breakdown of your bill online at any time so you always know what your calls are costing.
The Truth about BT Capped Call plans:
"Landline calls to mobiles capped at 20 Pence". Sounds great doesn't it? However, and here is the catch, ALL calls are subject to a call set up fee of 7 pence. (Why?.... it costs NOTHING to ‘Set Up’ a call).
We tried a full comparison on one of our clients bills and the results were very interesting:
Our client spent £987.42 in April calling Mobiles. If the calls were simply capped at 20 pence the bill would reduce to £740.10. However once the call set up fee was added, to all calls the cost of the calls rose to £1,126.34, an increase of £138.92 which is 14% Higher.
We have yet to find a single client who would reduce their call charges by moving to one of these capped call plans. Why? Quite simply because of the ridiculous call set up fee that increases the price of all the short duration calls.
Capped Call Small Print
Funnily enough the call set up fee can be found in the small print ‘7p set up fee applies’ and is not advertised in the same large print as the "Fixed to mobile calls now capped at just 20p" headline
